What level does Pokémon evolve? ›

The lowest level a Pokémon can level up to to evolve is 7 having a three-way tie between Caterpie evolving into Metapod, Weedle evolving into Kakuna and Wurmple Evolving into Silcoon/Cascoon. The highest level a Pokémon can level up to to evolve is 64 when a Zweilous evolves into a Hydreigon.

Evolution. Aron evolves into Lairon once level 32 is reached. Then it evolves into Aggron at level 42. It can evolve into Mega Aggron using the Aggronite.

Ralts has two evolutionary lines which are influenced by its gender. It will always evolve into Kirlia at Level 20. Getting a Kirlia at Level 30 will result in a Gardevoir, no matter the gender. Using a Dawn Stone on a male Kirlia causes it to evolve into Gallade, a Psychic/Fighting-type Pokemon.

It's not possible in the Ruby/Sapphire generation. To make it happen, you'd have to swap it onto Diamond/Pearl generation game.

Professor Rowan's research in Generation 4 delves into whether or not it's a form of maturity, but evolution is actually very different from aging. For one thing, Pokémon are able to breed regardless of their evolutionary stage, e.g. both a Pikachu and Raichu can breed.
