The obvious drawback for Christian and Herschel was that they had to endure criticism from sexist individuals who thought that only women could cheer. “It just seems like they had a stereotype about cheer, that it was just for females,” Christian told CBS. Christian ignored the haters just as he had disregarded the childhood bullies who taunted him because he had a stutter.
Christian went on to have quite a successful cheerleading career. In 2016, he led the Spirit of Texas Royalty to 1st place at the World Championship of All-Star Cheerleading. Perhaps the most important thing to Christian was that his choice of sport didn’t change his father’s attitude towards him. “I love him so much that if he never played football, I’m going to love him as much as I love him now,” Herschel said.
Walker has been at the forefront of the LGBTQ+ campaign for President Trump
Christian is an industrious member of the Log Cabin Republicans – a Republican organization advocating for equal rights for LGBT Americans. Log Cabin Republicans have endorsed President Trump, and they have taken to the streets to show their support for the incumbent. Recently, Christian led a short march in LGBTQ+ friendly West Hollywood.
Walker led the crowd with a bullhorn, yelling out a catalog of chants and executing backflips to energize the match. He then told the Los Angeles Blade that he believes that Trump is the most LGBTQ+ friendly candidate:
“Trump’s the only president that went into office as pro-gay. He’s the only president who supported gay marriage from the beginning of his presidency. He even supported it in the ‘80s, so anybody who says that is clearly uneducated and needs to do a little more research.”
Christian’s comments about Black Lives Matter and police brutality have angered many
You only need to look at Walker’s Twitter page to understand how he feels about the Black Lives Matter movement. In a September tweet, he defended the police who shot Breonna Taylor and referred to BLM as a black supremacy organization. He posted a screenshot of the tweet on Instagram and expressed relief that the cops responsible for Taylor’s murder weren’t charged.
In a recent video posted by Log Cabin Republicans, Christian equated BLM with the KKK:“Anybody who honestly cares about black people could not support Black Lives Matter – it’s a terrorist organization, and personally I think it’s the KKK in blackface.”Walker doesn’t believe in police brutality, and his recent tweets suggest that anyone shot by the police must be a criminal.
Christian’s views have attracted a fair share of criticism, especially from people advocating for an end to racial violence. Nevertheless, Christian is committed to exploiting his right to free speech to advance his beliefs and political agenda.

Herschel Walker is running for the Republican nomination in the Senate election in Georgia. He has received endorsem*nts from Trump and Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell.
